Huawei has unveiled new AI-powered smart glasses as part of its Pura series launch. The device features a proprietary chip, a lightweight frame, and several functions designed for everyday use.

The Huawei AI Glasses feature a classic design that feels almost indistinguishable from regular glasses. Weighing in at about 35.5 grams, their slim 6.25mm-wide temples give the frame a clean, sleek look. Huawei notes that the design was developed after analyzing hundreds of thousands of head shapes to ensure a comfortable fit.

A key highlight is the custom titanium alloy hinge system. According to Huawei, this boosts the frame's durability and wear resistance, which is particularly important for daily wear.

Inside, the glasses are powered by a proprietary AI chip. They respond quickly to voice commands, support voice activation, and provide fast access to AI features. The built-in Xiaoyi assistant helps users interact with their surroundings, while a "look and pay" function enables payments via Alipay.

The device also includes a camera with a 1/2.8-inch sensor. It supports first-person view recording, AI image processing, multi-frame merging, and automatic composition correction. The glasses can also be used for live streaming. For operation, there's the Huawei Glasses App, which handles pairing, audio management, content synchronization, and integration with other Huawei devices. Battery life is rated for up to 12 hours of general use, about 8 hours of voice calls, and up to 9 hours of music playback.

The Huawei AI Glasses will be available in several colors and frame styles. The base versions are priced at 2,499 yuan, while a more premium variant costs 2,899 yuan. Pre-orders are already open, with sales set to begin on April 25.
