Xiaomi has unveiled the new compact Redmi K Pad 2 tablet, focusing on performance and gaming capabilities. The device features an 8.8-inch 3K display with a peak brightness of 1,100 nits and a 165Hz refresh rate. The manufacturer highlights that over 40 games support 165 frames per second, and the touch sensor was optimized with esports players for different genres, including specific settings for shooters.

At the heart of the tablet is the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with an advanced cooling system that includes a vapor chamber. The chip is centrally positioned for even heat distribution. A dedicated button allows users to activate a "turbo mode" with a single press for maximum gaming performance.

The Redmi K Pad 2 comes with a 9,100 mAh battery and features two USB-C ports, which is uncommon for devices in this category. Sound is handled by large Bose-tuned speakers, while dual X-axis vibration motors provide deeper feedback in games and multimedia. The tablet also supports PC-level applications and is compatible with various styluses.

The new model has a unibody metal design and is available in three colors: silver, purple, and black. Pricing starts at 3,399 yuan for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, with the 12GB/256GB model priced at 3,799 yuan and the top-tier 16GB/512GB configuration costing 4,799 yuan.
