More and more wearable augmented reality devices are hitting the market, but the MemoMind One takes a different approach by combining minimalism with an unusual set of features. These glasses come with a built-in display while keeping a very understated look, aimed at everyday use.
One of the model's key features is the absence of a built-in camera. This limits some AR use cases but avoids privacy concerns and makes the device less conspicuous in public spaces. As a result, the glasses look more like a regular accessory than a high-tech gadget.
Despite that, the functionality is still broad. The device supports real-time translation, teleprompter-style text display, and turn-by-turn navigation with map integration. Users can see reminders and calendar events right before their eyes without reaching for their phone.
The built-in display offers a peak brightness of up to 2,000 cd/m² and an adjustable virtual viewing distance from one to five meters, making it more comfortable in different conditions.
The glasses are compatible with both Android and iOS, and can be controlled via voice, gestures, or a physical button on the frame. Corrective lenses can also be installed.
The MemoMind One shows a vision where augmented reality becomes less intrusive and more naturally integrated into daily life.
