Fast file sharing between devices from different ecosystems is quickly becoming the norm. The new OPPO Find X9 Ultra and vivo X300 Ultra flagships now support a technology similar to AirDrop, built into the updated Quick Share. Users of these smartphones can transfer files seamlessly not only between Android devices but also to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS gadgets. This makes data exchange much simpler and breaks down the old barriers between platforms.
The feature is already confirmed on the global page of the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, as well as in leaks about the international version of the vivo X300 Ultra. A similar capability previously appeared in the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. Google first introduced AirDrop-like sharing into Quick Share late last year, starting with the Google Pixel 10 series before expanding to other models.
Now the technology is being rolled out across various manufacturers, and the list of compatible devices is expected to grow significantly in the coming months. Ultimately, users will be able to exchange files between Android and Apple devices almost as easily as within a single ecosystem.
