Samsung is gearing up to launch the One UI 9.0 beta program for the flagship Galaxy S26 series. Insider Tarun Vats recently discovered that the company has set up One UI 9.0 Beta forum pages in Samsung Community for several regions.
According to the source, the beta discussion forums appeared in Samsung communities in India, the UK, Poland, Germany, South Korea, and the US. Such pages are usually created just before enrollment opens, so this suggests the public beta could begin in the coming days or weeks.
The Galaxy S26 is expected to be the first to get the beta. Unsurprisingly, Samsung typically rolls out major updates to its current flagships first before expanding to other models. For Galaxy S26 owners, this will be an early opportunity to see what Android 17 and the refreshed One UI bring.
One UI 9.0 is shaping up to be one of Samsung’s biggest updates in a while. Early leaks point to a redesigned interface, more dynamic animations, and system app updates. A new media player has also been spotted—it can match its controls’ colors to the album art of the current track.
Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed when the beta will go live, but setting up forums in key markets is a strong hint. If history is any guide, early access will be limited to a few regions, with a broader rollout following later. The stable release should arrive after a handful of beta builds and bug fixes.
