Korean sources indicate that the next Samsung Unpacked event is set for July 22 in London. Samsung is reportedly planning one of its biggest unveilings in years, with multiple products expected: the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, the Galaxy Watch 9 series, and new Galaxy Glasses.
Leaks have focused heavily on the Galaxy Glasses — Samsung’s first smart glasses, developed with Gentle Monster. The device reportedly runs on Android XR and comes with built-in speakers, Gemini support, microphones, and a single camera for first-person capture. Notably, there’s no display. The emphasis, sources say, is on AI features and deep integration with Google services.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is rumored to be Samsung’s answer to the upcoming foldable iPhone from Apple. Sources say the device will be exceptionally thin at roughly 4.3 mm and will feature a larger, nearly square inner display. Samsung likely wants to dominate the foldable market before Apple makes its move.
The Galaxy Watch 9 series is also expected, though specific details remain under wraps. Insiders note that Samsung is betting on a major European event to spotlight its ecosystem ahead of rival fall launches.
