Red Magic has launched its new Red Magic 11S Pro series of gaming smartphones in China. The lineup targets users who prioritize high performance, consistent frame rates, effective cooling, and an experience close to PC gaming.

The phones feature a 6.85-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%. The panel uses BOE X10 material for under-display lighting, and the 16 MP front camera is hidden beneath the screen to avoid interfering with gameplay. The devices also carry SGS and TÜV Rheinland eye protection certifications, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner handles unlocking.

Power comes from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version with a peak CPU frequency of up to 4.74 GHz. According to the company, the phone scored over 4.6 million points on AnTuTu. The devices also incorporate Red Magic’s proprietary Red Core R4 gaming chip, which is meant to improve graphics rendering, frame interpolation, touch response, and overall smoothness in games.

One of the series’ key highlights is the cooling system. Red Magic combined liquid and air cooling, adding a redesigned liquid channel, a fan that spins at up to 24,000 RPM, and a new internal structure with 43 blades. The company claims the fan is IPX8 water-resistant, as is the phone itself.

The Red Magic 11S Pro packs an 8,000 mAh battery and supports 80 W wired charging. The Red Magic 11S Pro+ version gets a 7,500 mAh battery but supports 120 W wired charging and 80 W wireless charging. Additionally, the Pro+ comes with a full liquid cooling module designed for more aggressive heat management during long gaming sessions.

Other specs include two 50 MP main cameras, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, an infrared port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and direct integration with Steam. The latter feature lets users run supported PC games through the phone’s built-in gaming space, bringing it closer to a portable gaming system.

The Red Magic 11S Pro starts at 5,499 yuan, which is roughly $760 for the 12/256 GB version. The Red Magic 11S Pro+ starts at 6,199 yuan, or about $860, for the same memory configuration. The 16/512 GB and 16 GB/1 TB variants cost 6,999 and 7,999 yuan, approximately $970 and $1,110 respectively. It remains unclear whether the series will launch globally.
