Vivo is gearing up to enter the over-ear wireless headphone market, revealing key specifications of its first model, the Vivo Over-Ear, ahead of its official launch on May 29. The new over-ear headphones emphasize active noise cancellation and long battery life.

According to Vivo, the ANC system can cancel noise up to 58 dB. Combined with the closed-back design, this should provide deep isolation from the outside environment. The company also highlights comfort: the headphones weigh about 238 grams, and the ear pads are made of soft synthetic leather for long wear without discomfort.

One key feature is support for connecting to three devices at once within a single ecosystem. Users can seamlessly switch between a smartphone, tablet, and computer without re-pairing.

Sound quality is driven by a 40mm dynamic driver and Hi-Res Audio Gold certification. Spatial 360-degree audio is also supported, targeting movies, music, and gaming.

Battery life is impressive at up to 75 hours of playback, positioning the model among the most durable on the market. It will be available in two colors: Cloud White and Purple Breeze.

The headphones have already surfaced on Chinese e-commerce platforms for pre-order. More details on pricing and a global launch are expected at the official event, where Vivo will also present the Vivo S60 smartphone series.
