Colorful unveiled the iGame P16 Pro Star Wind Edition gaming laptop from the Hidden Star lineup at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei. This marks the global debut of the model, which is expected to hit the market in the third quarter of 2026, maintaining the series' positioning as a relatively affordable gaming solution.

The laptop's standout feature is an unconventional liquid cooling system. Instead of the typical external vertical water block, Colorful uses a stand-shaped docking station called the Star Wind S1. It connects to the laptop via a snap-on mini connector with a three-sided locking mechanism, and the laptop and cooling stand can communicate over Bluetooth.

The iGame P16 Pro Star Wind Edition is built on Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors from the Arrow Lake HX generation and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50xx mobile graphics. The manufacturer claims support for full component power, which is particularly important for a gaming laptop with a slim chassis and an external cooling loop.

Despite the water cooling system, the laptop itself is relatively compact. The chassis thickness ranges from 19.6 to 21.3 mm, and the weight is just 1.9 kg. For a model with high-performance Intel HX chips and RTX 50xx graphics, this makes the device noticeably lighter than many gaming laptops with similar hardware.

This new design shows that manufacturers continue to seek a balance between mobility and high performance. In Colorful's case, the bet is on a split scenario: on the go, the iGame P16 Pro Star Wind remains a thin and light laptop, while at home or in the office it can connect to water cooling for more stable operation under load.
