Insider @ExoticSpice101 has published the first alleged Cinebench 2026 results for the NVIDIA N1X processor. According to the leak, an engineering sample of the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra scored 540 points in the single-core test and 5,771 points in multi-core. The source claims that the N1X delivers single-core performance roughly on par with the Apple M3 Max. NVIDIA and Microsoft have not released official benchmark figures, so the numbers should still be treated as preliminary.
Cinebench 2026 measures processor performance in rendering workloads and multi-threaded computing. Results from an engineering device can be affected by unfinished drivers and firmware, power settings, and cooling behavior. The retail Surface Laptop Ultra may therefore perform differently.
The N1X is seen as one of the key chips for the next generation of high-performance Windows PCs based on Arm. It is used in the RTX Spark platform, whose top configurations may reportedly feature up to 20 Arm CPU cores, Blackwell graphics with 6,144 CUDA cores, and up to 128 GB of unified memory. The Surface Laptop Ultra based on RTX Spark is expected to launch later in 2026. Microsoft is positioning the laptop for local AI workloads, 3D rendering, software development, and CUDA-based applications.
