Apple could introduce its first smart glasses at the WWDC developer conference in June 2027. According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the company plans to show the new device in advance, with sales possibly beginning toward the end of the same year.
The device is being developed under the N50 codename. Apple reportedly hoped to unveil the glasses earlier, but later revised the schedule to refine the product and work through privacy safeguards. The company is considering several designs, including cameras that would not support conventional photo or video recording, although the final configuration has not yet been chosen.
The first Apple glasses are expected to ship without a built-in augmented reality display. Instead, they may use cameras, microphones and speakers for Siri, recognizing nearby objects, phone calls, music playback and spoken notifications.
At the same time, Apple is preparing Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, which could arrive in autumn 2026. Gurman says Wi-Fi and cellular versions of Series 12, along with a new Ultra model, are in the final stage of testing. A major redesign is not expected, but the watches should gain a faster processor and updated health and activity tracking features.
A new Apple Watch SE generation is considered unlikely in 2026 because the previous model was introduced a year earlier. More noticeable design changes may only appear in later generations, while the 2026 update will probably focus mainly on performance and software features.
