Ayaneo AM01S mini PC with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 opens preorders

Ayaneo has confirmed the preorder launch date for its long-awaited AM01S mini PC, first announced in spring 2024. Preorders open on August 29, 2025, making it the brand’s first device built on AMD’s new Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chipset—an upgrade that should bring a clear performance lift over the more affordable AM02.

The standout feature is a built-in display, a touch that immediately sets the AM01S apart from rivals. It also comes with a generous selection of ports: two USB4, six USB Type-A, two HDMI, dual 2.5G Ethernet, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Taken together, that mix points to a machine equally at home with spreadsheets and streaming, edits and esports.

Ayaneo has yet to share pricing or a timeline for a global rollout. The company positions the AM01S as a higher-performance entry in its lineup; for context, the AM02 with a Ryzen AI 7 is priced at around $599. Given the added capabilities, analysts expect a higher price tag, and interest appears strong already.

The AM01S marks another push by Ayaneo to move beyond handheld consoles and gain ground in compact desktops. If preorders gain traction, the mini PC could appeal not only to gamers but also to professionals who care about performance, a small footprint, and abundant connectivity—an audience the spec sheet seems to court deliberately.
