Honor MagicPad 3 Pro and MagicPad 3: specs, display, cooling and prices

At a recent presentation, Honor officially unveiled the MagicPad 3 Pro and MagicPad 3, putting the spotlight on performance, display quality, and advanced cooling.

The headline announcement was the MagicPad 3 Pro, introduced as the first tablet powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It features a 13.3-inch LCD panel with a 3200×2136 resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate, support for IMAX Enhanced and HDR Vivid, and a broad set of AI-driven eye protection features. A standout detail is its cooling: a dual-sided liquid-and-steel circulation system paired with a vast 65,485 mm² heat-dissipation area. The 12,450 mAh battery supports 80 W fast charging. On paper, it reads like a showcase for sustained speed.

The standard MagicPad 3 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and brings a 12.5-inch display at 3048×2032 and 165 Hz. It adopts an upgraded cooling approach that uses a new graphite technology and carries a 10,100 mAh battery with 66 W charging. A more compact option, but it doesn’t compromise on smooth visuals.

Both models support Wi‑Fi 7, come with an eight-speaker stereo array and three microphones, and run MagicOS 10.0. Each tablet is under 6 mm thick and weighs between 528 and 595 g, depending on the configuration. The shared hardware touches help align both devices with a premium feel while keeping them impressively thin and light.

In China, prices start at 2,699 yuan (~$370) for the base MagicPad 3 and 3,799 yuan (~$520) for the MagicPad 3 Pro. The tablets will be offered in several colors, including white, gray, and gold.
