OPPO has officially unveiled its new flagship, the Find X9 Pro, the headline device of the refreshed lineup. It runs on the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9500, delivering a 32% faster CPU and a 33% more powerful GPU than the previous generation, plus a 111% boost for AI tasks.
The phone features a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, peak brightness up to 3,600 nits, and a next-generation ultrasonic fingerprint reader. One of the most significant upgrades is a 7,500 mAh battery with 90 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. OPPO promises at least 80% capacity retention even after five years of use—an assurance that signals a clear focus on longevity.
The cameras take center stage on the Find X9 Pro. The 50 MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor (f/1.5) with optical stabilization is paired with a unique 200 MP Hasselblad telephoto featuring hybrid optical stabilization and an HDR dual signal conversion system. Shooting options include Motion Photos, Dolby Vision, and 4K recording at 120 fps. OPPO also introduced a proprietary teleconverter that lifts optical zoom to 10x and digital zoom to 200x. On paper, the reach is undeniably ambitious.
The device ships with ColorOS 16, built on Android 16, with deep integration of Google Gemini AI alongside OPPO’s in-house AI features. Promised support covers five major OS updates and six years of security patches. The body is rated to IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards. In China, pricing starts at 5,300 yuan ($745) for the 12/256 GB model and rises to 6,700 yuan ($940) for the top configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage—positioning that aims to be competitive for the class.
