On October 20, Duoqin unveiled the F25, a keypad smartphone that blends a retro aesthetic with up-to-date hardware. The device measures 10.2 mm thick, weighs just 133 grams, and pairs a 3.54-inch touchscreen at 640x960 with a full physical keyboard for dual-mode control—touch and keys working side by side.
Under the hood, an octa-core MTK8786 teams up with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The phone runs Android 14 and supports two physical SIM cards, 4G networks, Wi‑Fi 5G, Bluetooth, and an IR port. A 2,700 mAh battery powers the setup, with charging via USB‑C.
The standout feature is the built-in Qin AI assistant with DeepSeek support. A long press on the side key summons the helper, enabling voice actions to launch apps, manage Bluetooth, take notes, check the weather, translate text, or pull up information. In everyday use, this approach feels like it cuts through menus and keeps interactions quick and purposeful.
Duoqin also includes robust parental controls—from limiting app time to automatic locking and location tracking. The F25 starts at 899 yuan (about US$125), a price point that makes its focused feature set look especially appealing to those who want modern essentials without the usual distractions.
