Ryzen 7 8745HS mini PC with speakers: Soayan EXR1 and Chatreey EX1

A mini PC that looks like a Bluetooth speaker and is said to sound almost like a studio subwoofer has appeared on AliExpress under two labels. The cylindrical Soayan EXR1 / Chatreey EX1 pairs a compact computer built around AMD’s hybrid Ryzen 7 8745HS with built-in audio: two 10-watt stereo drivers, a pair of mini subwoofers, and a 24-bit DAC. In effect, it’s a full desktop you can also park as a stationary speaker, but there’s no internal battery — it needs mains power.

Under the hood is a familiar recipe for punchy small-form-factor systems: an eight-core Ryzen 7 8745HS with integrated Radeon 780M graphics, at least 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1 TB SSD in one of the configurations. The board visibly includes one DDR5 SO-DIMM slot and one M.2 socket, yet the spec sheet mentions up to two memory slots and two drives — the extra connectors could be on the flip side. The manufacturer advises against opening the chassis, so upgrade potential on this unit may be limited.

Connectivity is generous: USB4, three USB-A ports at 10 Gbps, one USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 with support for triple display output, 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet, and an audio jack. Wireless options include Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. The body measures roughly 167 by 112 mm — larger than a typical mini PC, but that’s the trade-off for the integrated speakers and the offbeat design, topped by an LED ring that serves as a visual accent.

On AliExpress, the Soayan EXR1 with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD is listed at about $479.97, while a similar Chatreey EX1 comes in at more than double the price on the same baseline specs. The concept feels tailored for a media-focused setup — a work-ready PC with good sound that doesn’t need external speakers — and for anyone simply looking for an unconventional mini PC for the living room. The steep price gap between the two badges will likely raise eyebrows.
