OPPO is preparing the next generation of its foldable flagship — Find N6 — which, according to a fresh leak, will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a larger battery. The insider Digital Chat Station shared details about the device, billed as the successor to the OPPO Find N5 released in February 2025.
According to the source, the Find N6 will keep the previous model’s display dimensions — an inner panel around 8.1 inches and an outer screen of 6.6 inches — while delivering a noticeable performance uplift thanks to the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a chip already appearing in devices such as the OnePlus 15, iQOO 15, and Xiaomi 17. OPPO may opt for a slightly modified version of the processor, given that the Find N5 used a seven-core Snapdragon 8 Elite. Sticking with the proven form factor while boosting speed looks like a pragmatic move.
In the camera department, a major upgrade is expected: the main unit is said to switch to a 50‑megapixel Sony LYT808 sensor measuring 1/1.4 inch, replacing the earlier LYT-700 at 1/1.56 inch. A 50‑MP periscope telephoto lens with optical zoom is also mentioned. The focus on a larger primary sensor and dedicated zoom suggests OPPO aims to sharpen image quality rather than chase specs for their own sake.
The insider also claims the newcomer will pack a battery of about 6,000 mAh yet remain thin and light. As with its predecessor, the Find N6 will likely retain a fingerprint reader in the power button, support wireless charging, and offer water resistance, and it could add an extra customizable button. If accurate, that battery capacity would be unusually generous for a foldable of this footprint, potentially easing the all-day anxiety that still dogs many devices in this category.
OPPO has not officially confirmed the Find N6, so all of the above should be treated as rumor. Still, if the information holds up, the new model could emerge as one of the most powerful and long-lasting foldable phones of 2026 — a strong entry in a field that is rapidly heating up.
