MSI has introduced an updated MPG Trident AS Mini, a compact gaming desktop refreshed with current components and Nvidia’s next‑generation Blackwell graphics. The machine targets gamers and content creators who want serious performance without giving up desk space, a format that can deliver more than its size suggests when the parts are well matched.
Depending on configuration, the system can be equipped with a GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5060 Ti. A 20‑core Intel Core Ultra 7‑265F processor (up to 5.3 GHz, 30 MB cache) handles compute duties. Both versions come with 32 GB of DDR5‑5600 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Pricing starts at 11,549 yuan (about $1,624) for the RTX 5060 model and 13,149 yuan ($1,849) for the RTX 5060 Ti variant.
The RTX 5060 series supports DLSS 4, Reflex 2, and ray tracing, with up to 614 TOPS of AI compute. Each card features 8 GB of GDDR7 and is positioned for smooth 1440p gaming, while Nvidia Studio support caters to creative workflows. The balance of features aligns neatly with the system’s compact brief.
The 10‑liter chassis pairs a small footprint with practical ergonomics. A built‑in 500 W power supply carries an 80 Plus certification, and MSI’s Silent Storm cooling divides airflow between the CPU, GPU, and PSU. Tempered‑glass and metal side panels allow tool‑free upgrades. Connectivity includes USB‑C, USB‑A (Gen 1 and 2.0), audio jacks, and S/PDIF, along with Wi‑Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and 2.5G Ethernet.
