Hope stays alive—Samsung does appear to be preparing an international release of its first triple-folding device. Six variants of the Galaxy Z TriFold have surfaced in the Bluetooth SIG database, and two of them seem aimed at the European market. That said, sources note a European launch is unlikely before 2026.
Back on October 31 at the APEC 2025 summit, Samsung showed its new folding model to the public—a tablet that folds into three sections. The demonstration took place behind glass, and media weren’t allowed to handle the device. The company has not yet provided detailed specifications or official high‑resolution images, which naturally keeps expectations measured.
Now the device, internally labeled Q7M, has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website in six configurations. According to the certification, models SM-D639N and SM-D6390 are intended for the South Korean and Chinese markets, SM-D639U and SM-D639Ui are for the United States, while SM-D639B and SM-D639B/SD are classified as "international versions," which may indicate a European destination.
Even so, there is still no official confirmation of a European launch. It is only known that the device will go on sale in the UAE, and it is also expected in Taiwan and Singapore. Samsung’s third‑quarter reports mentioned new foldable form factors planned for 2026, which indirectly suggests the Galaxy Z TriFold should not be expected to reach the market this year.
