Xiaomi unveils Redmi Watch 6 with 2.07-inch OLED and 24-day battery

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Watch 6, a new-generation smartwatch that leans slimmer and packs in more features. It’s already on sale in China for 600 yuan and comes in three colors: blue, silver, and black.

The watch uses a 2.07-inch OLED display that can reach up to 2,000 nits, framed by notably thin bezels. The case has been pared down to 9.94 mm, and the aluminum body now includes an extra button you can assign to different actions. At 31 grams, it stays light on the wrist, while battery life stretches up to 24 days with light use—exactly the kind of endurance that makes daily charging feel unnecessary.

For tracking and navigation, the Redmi Watch 6 features a dual L1 antenna for more precise positioning. It monitors heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep, and offers more than 150 sports modes. With 5ATM water resistance, it’s ready for pool sessions without fuss.

On the software side, the watch runs HyperOS 3, supports Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC, and allows quick replies in WeChat along with the installation of third-party apps. For now, the model is available only in China, with a global release expected soon—an indication that Xiaomi is confident this mix of practicality and polish will resonate beyond its home market.
