ViewSonic has unveiled the VX2766-2K-PRO-8, a 27-inch gaming monitor built on a Fast IPS panel with QHD resolution and a headline refresh rate that can climb to 340 Hz when overclocked.
According to the company, the native refresh rate is 320 Hz, and enabling the overclock mode pushes it to 340 Hz, placing the display among the fastest options available. The spec sheet lists a 1300:1 contrast ratio, typical brightness of 450 nits with 500 nits at peak, a 1 ms GtG response, HDR10 support, and compatibility with both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC.
Color coverage comes in at 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3, making the screen suitable not only for play but also for content work. The panel uses an anti-glare surface and includes flicker-free protection. Connectivity is straightforward: two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4. To round out the gaming vibe, the monitor adds decorative RGB backlighting.
ViewSonic has not shared pricing or a launch date. Observers expect the VX2766-2K-PRO-8 to appeal to professional esports players and enthusiasts chasing the smoothest motion. On paper, the blend of a 27-inch QHD canvas and extreme refresh rates looks tuned for competitive priorities.
