Redmi K90 Pro to Feature Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and 2K OLED Display

Fresh leaks have shed light on Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, the Redmi K90 Pro, slated for launch in October. According to details from Digital Chat Station, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and feature a flat 6.59-inch LTPS OLED display with 2K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, large corner curvature, and enhanced eye protection. The insider also revealed that the battery capacity will range between 7,000 mAh and 7,500 mAh, with support for 100-watt wired and 50-watt wireless charging.

The camera system is expected to include a periscope telephoto lens, while fingerprint recognition will be handled by an ultrasonic sensor. Other upgrades include a USB 3.0 interface for faster data transfer and significantly improved external audio, which should appeal to music enthusiasts. The phone will also feature a metal frame and a new vibration motor.

Industry rumors suggest that the Redmi K90 series will arrive on the global market in the first quarter of 2026 under the Poco F8 brand, with the K90 Pro rebranded as the Poco F8 Ultra.
