Google has announced Gemini 3 Pro, its most advanced and capable AI model to date. The company says it understands context and user intent more accurately and can deliver tighter, more precise responses. Internal testing indicates Gemini 3 Pro outperforms the previous Gemini 2.5 Pro in core multimodal analysis tasks—an edge that increasingly matters as AI blends text, images, and tools into single workflows.
The model is already making its way into Google’s ecosystem: AI mode in Search for Pro and Ultra subscribers, the Gemini app (in Thinking mode), AI Studio, Vertex AI, and the new Google Antigravity platform for building AI agents. With Gemini 3, Search is set to gain new interfaces—interactive elements generated on the fly during a query and visual layouts with dynamic prompts. It reads like a push to make search feel less like a static results page and more like a fluid, guided experience.
Subscribers to Google AI Ultra can already launch Gemini Agent powered by Gemini 3 to handle complex, multi-step tasks automatically. In the coming weeks, an even more powerful mode—Gemini 3 Deep Think—will arrive, built for advanced, longer-running analytical work. If the execution matches the ambition, this could change how people offload planning and research.
Alongside the model upgrade, Google has refreshed the Gemini app with a cleaner, more modern interface. A My Stuff folder helps quickly find created files, while the shopping experience now includes product lists, comparison tables, and data from Google Shopping Graph. The company is also rolling out new visual interfaces that are generated in real time using agentic technologies—a sign that the app is shifting from simple chat to a practical workspace for getting things done.
