Redmi K90 Ultra tipped with 10,000 mAh battery and 100W charging in a slim body

Leakster Digital Chat Station says a smartphone pairing extreme endurance with a slim build is coming soon. According to the tip, the device will pack a 10,000 mAh battery, support 100 W wired charging, and offer fast wireless charging, all in a chassis under 8.5 mm thick.

While the model name isn’t stated outright, several clues point to the Redmi K90 Ultra. The source notes the newcomer belongs to a performance-focused line and will run a flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9‑series chipset rather than mid-range silicon.

If accurate, that would be a notable leap over the Redmi K90 Pro Max, which carries a 7,560 mAh battery. Expectations had hovered around an 8,000 mAh bump, yet, judging by the leak, Xiaomi has managed to fit a 10,000 mAh pack without visibly thickening the body—an ambitious move that, if it lands as described, could reset what we expect from thin phones on battery life.

In follow-up comments, the insider suggested the manufacturer is deliberately keeping the device slim instead of chasing an even larger battery, prioritizing ergonomics and in-hand comfort. He also hinted that the phone would use a top-tier processor rather than a compromise, a choice that aligns with the performance-first positioning.

Earlier reports also claimed the Redmi K90 Ultra will feature a next-gen flat display around 6.8 inches with 1.5K resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate. A metal frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, and improved water and dust protection are likewise expected.

The push toward bigger batteries is gaining momentum among other brands too. OnePlus, according to rumors, is preparing phones with batteries up to 9,000 mAh—another sign the industry is tilting toward maximum endurance without abandoning slim designs.
