Adobe is continuing to aggressively integrate artificial intelligence into its products, with Acrobat now taking center stage. The program, long associated with viewing and basic PDF editing, is getting several new AI-powered features that transform familiar documents into interactive materials: presentations, audio podcasts, and even "smart" edits based on text prompts.
According to boda.su, one of the most notable additions is the generation of presentations from text commands. Acrobat can now create a draft slide deck based on data collected in Adobe Spaces—a cloud workspace for files and notes accessible to multiple users. Simply specify in the prompt that you need a presentation on financial data, a product plan, or competitor analysis, and the AI will assemble a structure with key points. Users can then choose a design style from the Adobe Express library, add images, and adapt the design to match their brand.
Another interesting feature is the ability to turn documents into audio summaries. Acrobat can generate an audio version of text that can be listened to like a podcast. This is handy for quickly getting through long documents without reading them in full. While similar functionality exists in other services, integrating it directly into a PDF tool makes it especially useful for those who work with texts daily.
The main update is editing via prompts. There’s no longer a need to hunt through menus for the right tool—just write what you want changed. The AI assistant can perform up to 12 actions, including deleting pages, text, or images; finding and replacing phrases; adding an electronic signature; and setting a password. This speeds up document work and reduces manual steps.
Together, these features show that Acrobat is moving beyond just reading and basic processing, evolving into a platform for creating multimedia content and handling documents quickly using natural language. Adobe is advancing AI across its entire product line, and the new capabilities in Acrobat represent another step toward making work tools faster, more convenient, and better aligned with modern needs.
