Samsung announced it is expanding its partnership with Toyota: the company’s Smart Signage solutions will be installed in more of the Japanese brand’s dealerships across key global regions. The move extends a large-scale program that, by early 2025, had fully digitized 1,250 Toyota dealer centers in 40 European countries.
According to Samsung, more than 23,000 Smart Signage displays have already been deployed in Toyota showrooms across Europe, the Middle East and the CIS — one of the company’s largest commercial digital signage projects. In the second quarter of 2025, Samsung held 38.8% of the global digital display market and maintained industry leadership for the 17th consecutive year. At this scale and pace, the rollout feels less like a trial and more like a template for how car retail is being rebuilt.
Dealerships are using a range of Smart Signage models: touchscreens, indoor LED displays, the QMC lineup, and 4K UHD panels from 43 to 98 inches with anti-glare coating and both portrait and landscape orientations. All of them run on the MagicINFO platform, which enables remote control of software and hardware, helping to reduce downtime.
For customers, these displays make car buying more convenient and interactive: visitors can browse the lineup, review specifications, configure trims and compare offers right on the screen. Company representatives say this boosts buyer engagement and supports sales growth. Samsung vice president Hoon Chung indicated that the digitalization of dealerships is accelerating worldwide, while Toyota reported that adopting Smart Signage has significantly improved the customer experience and the efficiency of its dealer network.
